GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

These General Conditions of Sale (GCS) govern the contractual relations between ROMANZINI SAS and any customer (hereinafter ‘the Customer’) making a purchase via the site www.maisonromanzini.fr.

2. Scope of applicatio

These General Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed on the www.maisonromanzini.fr website for the sale of fresh and preserved snails and accessories. The Customer declares that he has read these GTC and accepts them before validating his order.

ROMANZINI reserves the right to modify the GCS at any time. They will then be applicable as soon as they are put on line.

3. Products

The products offered are those shown in the catalogue published on the Site (hereinafter the ‘Products’). These products are offered while stocks last. 

​

The products offered for sale include:

  • Fresh snails: perishable products requiring special preservation.

  • Canned snails: long-life products, with use-by dates indicated.

  • Accessories: items related to the preparation and tasting of snails (e.g. tongs, plates, etc.) and other goodies.

Product descriptions, images and specifications are provided as accurately as possible. Minor variations may exist. Photographs are not contractual and are not binding on ROMANZINI.

4. Prices

  • Prices are quoted in euros (€), inclusive of all taxes.

  • Delivery costs are not included and are specified when the order is placed.

  • In the event of a promotion, the period of validity is indicated on the site.

  • Products will be invoiced at the rate in force at the time the order is validated.

5. Ordering

5.1 Order process:

  • Selection of products in the basket.

  • Confirmation of basket and personal details.

  • Acceptance of terms and conditions.

  • Secure payment.

  • Order confirmation sent by e-mail.

5.2 Order cancellation:

  • In the event of unavailability of products or a problem related to payment, the company reserves the right to cancel the order by informing the Customer.

6. Payment

  • Payments are made online via secure solutions.

  • Payment methods accepted: bank card (Visa, Mastercard, etc.) and other methods indicated on the site.

  • The order is considered validated once payment has been made.

7. Delivery

7.1 Delivery zones:

Deliveries are made in mainland France. For other areas, please contact us before ordering.

7.2 Delivery times:

  • Fresh produce: delivery within 2 to 5 working days, depending on location.

  • Preserves and accessories: delivery within 3 to 7 working days.

7.3 Specific conditions for fresh produce:

  • Fresh snails are dispatched via a refrigerated carrier or in refrigerated packaging to guarantee their quality.

  • The Customer must receive and store the products according to the recommendations provided.

7.4 Delivery charges:

Indicated when the basket is validated and calculated according to the weight, delivery address and amount of the order.

7.5 Reception:

The Customer must check the condition of the packages on receipt and report any anomalies to the carrier.

8. Right of withdrawal

In accordance with Article L221-18 of the Consumer Code, the Customer has 14 days from receipt to exercise his right of withdrawal, except in the case of :

  • Fresh perishable products (article L221-28).

  • Personalised or custom-made products.

Procedure:

  • Notification by e-mail to info@romanzini.fr

  • Return of products in perfect condition in their original packaging (except perishable products).

  • The cost of returning products is borne by the Customer.

Refunds will be made within 14 days of receipt of the products.

9. Legal guarantees

The products are covered by legal guarantees:

  1. Warranty of conformity (articles L217-4 et seq. of the French Consumer Code).

  2. Guarantee against hidden defects (articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code).

10. Responsibility

The company cannot be held responsible:

  • In the event of poor conservation of fresh products after delivery.

  • Non-compliant use of products or accessories.

  • Indirect damage linked to the use of the site or the products purchased.

11. Personal data

Personal data collected is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

​

12. Litigation

In the event of a dispute, the Customer is invited to contact our customer service for an amicable resolution at info@romanzini.fr.

13. Applicable law

These General Terms and Conditions are governed by French law. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of the jurisdiction of the company's registered office.
